We all know the physical benefits of exercise, but most of us haven’t thought of the mental health benefits. Exercise is grounding. What might seem like a big deal before we exercise, may not be such a big deal after we exercise. If we exercise, our life will likely be more gratifying. A personal brand signature is largely based on how people experience us. Exercise adds a tremendous amount of positive effects to this experience. Overall, the quality of our life increases with exercise. We live longer and are more healthy both mentally and physically.

I used to really dislike exercising, but I realized I just was not used to it. Going slowly and building up to a more challenging work out is the best avenue. Our body and mind adapt. Right now I’m on a 10 week running program. It’s designed to allow the body to get used to this new activity. When I started doing yoga three years ago, I could barely bend to reach my toes. Slowly my body became flexible enough to put my whole hand on the floor, but I had to consistently practice and stick it out for some time first. If you decide to start exercising, be patient with the process.

Just imagine what you will be able to do with your personal brand signature! It’s worth the effort.
