Before today, I was clear about these facts and I cared about the results of the exercise, but I didn’t care enough. When we really care about ourselves, it shows in the results of our brand signatures. With consistency, my body will change and certainly my mind will strengthen. These effects will show through in every area of my life. How I concentrate and perform as a mother and a professional. The way my clothes fits me. How I choose to dress because I am feeling good about myself. It’s all in the caring – and the doing that the caring inspires.

If you want to turn the work of your inner designer into your personal brand signature, start to go about your collection of “likes” more formally. Pull tear sheets or take screen shots and document your work. Once you’ve done this, you can work with someone like me to help you transform your inner designer into your personal brand signature. It’s all about you after all. It should be all about what you like!

How will you (or did you) earn your prestige?

When we create a personal brand signature, we are clarifying our life. Through this clarity, we are given the gift of living the life we have often thought was only a dream.

It is through reflection and careful thought into our values, goals and personal style that we become crystal clear. Where we had only questions,  we now have answers!

An individual’s brand signature comprises her values, goals and personal style.  She shares it through every medium of expression including: how she dresses, how she writes, what font she uses, her email address, her twitter handle, the colors she wears, how she speaks, where she lives, and how she decorates her home office..

A business’ brand signature comprises the company’s values, mission and style.  The company share’s it’s brand signature through every touchpoint including: it’s LOGO/ICON, Tagline, Website, Product Line, Twitter Handle, Social Media Exchanges, Business Location, Mission Statement, Marketing/PR Campaigns, Owners/Employee’s Brand Signature’s, Presentation Style, Communication Methods, Sales Processes, and Customer Service.

Building a brand signature requires some skill.  My Signature offers the resources and community to teach women the skills to successfully build their brand signature across every area of their personal and professional life.

When we have vision, we can see our lives in the future; the life we would like to live. Sometimes our vision can be clouded by what we think we should value. We may think being a straight A student and working several jobs is the most important thing in our life, but what about learning about who we are as well as the history of the world and the best sellers of the season? We can unlock our potential by uncovering our values and allowing them to shape who we are.

What do you value? Do you have a vision of the life you’d like to live? Explore what you value and begin developing your vision. Once you’ve established your vision, you can develop a personal signature that is founded on them.

Careful thought; deliberation. Consideration is a key component to developing a personal brand signature. We must look at what we value and align our behavior and attitude with our values. In fact the whole exercise is designed to get us to consider many criteria and then create a personal brand signature that reflects the results. By doing this we un-earth our true nature.

Before I developed my personal brand signature, I hadn’t considered much of anything. I just made decisions. I didn’t even think about my true nature.  Now, I have a list of important values that I reference often. The questions become, what do I want to support in the world? Who do I want to be? Once we have considered all of this information, we can begin to develop a personal brand signature.

Next time you think about your personal brand signature, ask yourself what your experience has taught you about yourself?

Think about what you want to lead others to do. What kind of leadership will that require on your part? How is this leadership tied to your personal brand signature?
